What is PD?

USB-PD stands for USB Power Delivery. This charging protocol can only be used with USB-C connectors and cables. It is a fast charging technology that delivers much more power than standard charging technologies. You can charge your device up to 70% faster than with a standard 5W charger. So your smartphone is charged up to 100% faster. USB-PD is currently the most open and commonly used charging standard for quickly charging smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Power Delivery is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. For example, Apple is gradually replacing its Lightning connector with a USB-C connector to be able to charge its high-end devices with higher power.

What is PPS?

USB PPS stands for "usb power delivery programmable power supply." PPS is programmable and allows you to adjust the charging speed step by step to the needs of your device by offering intermediate voltages to your device. If your battery is completely empty and your device requires a high input, the charger will deliver the required output. The fuller the battery becomes, the less the device needs.
